Gloria Lucile Loftus, nee DeMoss

Gloria Lucile Loftus, nee DeMoss, 90, formerly of Mt. Prospect. Loving mother of Kathleen Loftus, Scott (Lori), Thomas, Mark (Patricia), and Christine Lehane. Cherished grandmother of Benjamin (Anna), Bradley, Allison (Ryan), Amanda, Kevin, Kristin, Brendan, Collin, Sean, Kelley, Ryan, and Haley, and 4 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Paul (Pat) DeMoss.Fond aunt of many.

Gloria was born in Chicago in 1927. She moved to Decatur, IL as a child where she graduated from Decatur High School in 1945 and attended Millikin University. Gloria had 4 or her 5 children in Decatur before moving to Mt. Prospect in 1965. She also attended De Lourdes College in Des Plaines, IL prior to her long career with the Social Security Administration in Chicago, retiring in 1995. Later she enjoyed working as a substitute teacher for Des Plaines School District 62.

Visitation Sunday, 2:00 P.M. until Funeral Services at 7:00 P.M. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. (at Northwest Highway) Mt. Prospect.

Private interment at Graceland Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur, IL.
